Interface is the only company to provide a family of commercial interior products for a sustainable workplace.
Interface Flooring Systems has long standing experience in state and federal government. Interface has had a GSA contract in place for more than twenty years and has been a significant leader in bringing carpet tile to the Federal government. In fact, Interface is the largest supplier of carpet tile to the government and we have always been recognized as a leader and innovator in that market. We introduced antimicrobial protected carpet to the government fifteen years ago and helped to establish the criteria used today to evaluate antimicrobial effectiveness in carpet. With the "greening" of government, Interface is fully involved with its offerings of carpet and adhesive products that contribute to the best indoor environmental quality. Interface offers products with recycled content and our facilities and products meet the guidelines set by the Presidential Executive Orders, as well as the requirements set by many states. Interface modular tile and Performance Broadloom are specified and selected by facility managers and interior designers for government facilities throughout the USA and the world. These products have long been recognized for superior performance and aesthetics. Interface offers more than 35 carpet products in a broad range of colors and patterns on the GSA schedule. These products all feature Intersept®, Interface's patented antimicrobial preservative, effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi. Intersept is registered with the EPA for use in carpeting and other products and all Interface products containing Intersept meet CRI Green Label, State of Washington Protocol and GSA Antimicrobial Certification. And, Interface products are designed with sustainability in mind. Our products are easily available through the GSA contract, as well as various state contracts. We even install through these contracts, allowing for easy and economical one-stop shopping for government buyers. The following products were available from Interface on the GSA contract as of February 2005. Click the name of a product to view it at TheMarket. View the GSA extranet site on the Market.
