Sabi™ Winner of the 2001 Best of NeoCon Gold Award, Sabi employs the philosophy of "less is more". It is an excellent example of how the reduction in the quantity of raw materials is not directly proportional to the performance of a product. It utilizes technologies that create a finished texture unlike traditional carpets, yet still provides many of the threshold requirements of commercial office carpeting — warmth, color, acoustical abatement and way-finding. In addition, Sabi is constructed with high content post-industrial recycled nylon polymer in its face and high content recycled vinyl in its backing construction, making it one of the industry's highest recycled content products by weight. Sabi contributes to satisfying Materials and Resources Credit 4 (at least 40% total recycled content with a minimum of 20% post consumer content) and Indoor Environmental Quality Credit 4 (meeting the CRI Green Label) of the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Green Building Rating System.
