Interface Flooring Systems, Buildings magazine and DuPont sponsored
three panel discussions around the country in October to unveil the results of
research recently completed by the Building Owners and Managers Association
(BOMA International). Entitled Satisfaction=Retention: The Tenant/Workplace
Equation, these presentations revealed BOMA's findings from a recent
study of office tenants around the US regarding the relationship between the
built office environment and tenant attraction and retention. Linda Monroe, Buildings
editor-in-chief, moderated a distinguished panel of experts from various
industries who expanded upon BOMA's findings concerning flexibility, amenities,
aesthetics, ergonomics, safety, lighting and others.
To keep our customers and our associates apprised of Interface Flooring

This past summer Interface sponsored a showing of Eames Demetrios’ short film
Lucy House before a crowd of over 250 architects, designers and others. The
film documents the work of the 2001-2002 Rural Studio students of Auburn
University as they designed and constructed the "carpet tile" house for Lucy
Harris and her family. Attendees lauded the late Professor Samuel Mockbee and
his students’ innovative use of materials and architectural methods.
Interface Flooring Systems' U.S. sales associates are now carrying Interface
Cool Fuel cards. BP provides a corporate rebate to Interface for gallons of
fuel purchased with the Interface Cool Fuel card. Interface then uses the
rebate funds to purchase CO2 emission offsets that zero out the
environmental impact of gasoline usage in the U.S. These offsets are third
party certified by the Climate Neutral Network.
